These workshops have been made possible through the generosity of ACMP - The Chamber Music Network, and the Clinton B. Ford Fund of its ACMP Foundation, an organization that promotes chamber music activities for amateur musicians.
The fabled southern Italian isle of Ischia - dreaming with Capri in the timeless blue waters of the Bay of Naples, is home to the Covo dei Borboni, an elegant, white-washed villa surrounded by beautifully landscaped gardens overlooking the sea, which will again be the exclusive venue for our two piano workshop, that will be held from Wednesday May the 2nd to Friday May the 4th .
Accomodation at Hotel Grazia Terme (a 10-minute walk from the workshop location), including breakfast and dinner (including water and wine of the house):

Non player family members and friends are welcome! They will receive accomodation special rates as our Members.
The program is open to only 9 pianists and will focus on the great two pianos and piano four-hand repertoire.
Some rarely played gems, like Rachmaninov "Romance for Piano 6 hands" , Bizet "Scherzo aus Roma" (arr. Emil Kronke) for two pianos 8 hands, will be part of our program.
Pianists also taking the Chamber Music Workshop (5-11 May, 2012) will work on a wider range of two pianos and four-hand piano chamber music and Orchestral repertoire.
The most adventurous and advanced pianists, along with other players, can also choose to be part of our "Contemporary Music Corner" (CMC), featuring pieces like Schnittke "Hommage à Prokofiev, Rachmaninoff and Shostakovich" for piano 6 hands.
Coaching sessions will begin Wednesday, May the 2nd at 9:00 a.m. Evenings after 6 p.m. will be free for sightseeing, free-playing, enjoying the wonderful food, sights and ambience of this charming island as well as being warmly welcome to enjoy listening to the Festival concerts during the week. The workshop will end with performances by participant musicians on the evening of Friday, May the 4th .
Bruno Canino, a worldwide famous pianist, known as one of the most experienced international chamber music teacher and acclaimed performer, will be, with pianist and Artistic Director Aldo de Vero, our contagiously enthusiastic coach.
